Kellie Maloney: 'Seriously considering' getting boxing licence back
Former boxing promoter Kellie Maloney has told ѿý 5 Live that she is “seriously considering” reapplying for her boxing licence.
Maloney was speaking about the Martin Murray v Gennady Golovkin fight in Monte Carlo when she admitted she misses boxing and would like to go back to it.
“I think boxers today are not getting the opportunity to develop their careers properly…where I come from a world where we developed fighters”.
She explained her plans to attend a boxing event with her daughter and how they will then sit down and discuss it, “If I feel like it I will then reapply for my licence, yes”, she said.
She also talked about Frank Maloney, and said he was “the mask that was hiding Kelly” and that she has now buried the side of Frank she needed to.
“I have never been so happy, I’ve never been so contented, and I’m a lot nicer to be around so I’ve been told” she said.
