Arsenal 1-3 Monaco
Dimitar Berbatov scored on his return to north London as Monaco stunned Arsenal in the first leg of their Champions League last-16 tie.
Geoffrey Kondogbia's deflected 25-yard strike gave Monaco the lead before ex-Spurs striker Berbatov finished off a counter-attack from 12 yards.
Alex Oxlade-Chamberlain curled in from 18 yards late on, giving Arsenal hope.
But Yannick Ferreira Carrasco netted in added time to put Monaco in charge ahead of the second leg on 17 March.
