Kristen Scott Thomas: Ageism in film will never change
Actress Dame Kristen Scott Thomas has described the lack of roles for older women as "a disaster".
She said the topic was boring because the situation would never change.
Speaking to The Andrew Marr Show's stand-in host Sophie Raworth, she said she had returned to London to do more theatre work but she said she had been tempted to go back to film.
She is currently starring in the movie adaptation of the book Suite Francaise.
