After more than 3 years of uncertainty, the Wilderness Centre in the Forest of Dean will re-open this summer. For generations the outdoor activity centre was used as a place to experience a range of outdoor activities - such as canoeing, climbing and caving. It was closed by Gloucestershire County Council in 2011 because it didn't have the funds to keep it going.
