Skydiving instructor saved man during mid-air seizure
Skydiving instructor, Sheldon McFarlane, "wasn't sure" what a 22-year-old student who was having a mid-air seizure was doing when he rescued him by pulling out his parachute.
He admitted when student Christopher Jones was having the seizure, he thought he was okay until he started spinning "out of control".
Mr McFarlane said catching Mr Jones whilst falling was part of his training, but admitted he "had never seen anything like this before".
Earlier on 5 live, Mr Jones described his rescuer as “amazing”. The video of the incident has gone viral, with over 4.5 million views in 24 hours.
