Furness General Hospital: Father had 'no apology' after losing son and wife
Carl Hendrikson, whose wife and child died at Furness General Hospital, spoke about an investigation into the hospital's maternity unit after allegedly "never receiving an apology".
A "lethal mix" of failures at a Cumbrian hospital led to the unnecessary deaths of 11 babies and one mother, the inquiry has ruled.
The investigation into Morecambe Bay NHS Foundation Trust found 20 major failures in care from 2004 to 2013.
Before the report's findings were published, Mr Hendrikson, who used to work at the trust before being sacked for "taking legal action" said "lessons won’t be learned until someone is found accountable".
