Aldershot: cuts to defence budget unsettle military town
As part of the series visiting 100 seats in the 100 days to the election, Sima Kotecha visits the military town of Aldershot.
The threat of further defence cuts has disturbed the residents of the town, most of whom have spent time in the forces or have a relative that has.
Linda Aspen's son has been in the army for 7 years but is set to leave because of an uncertain future.
‘One time when you joined the army you knew you had a job more or less for life, now he's done seven years he feels that every single time there are redundancies he's going to be one.'
