Is the world governing body of netball right not to promote the men's and mixed game?

Netball is most unusual in sport. It is one of very few sports where men and women directly compete against each other. The Australian men’s national team regularly plays the women’s national team, and in the Southern Hemisphere men’s and mixed netball continues to grow. So why did Molly Rhone, head of netball’s world governing body say “The International Federation does not promote Netball as a men’s game, and I make no apologies for it.” Ahead of the men’s and mixed netball championships in Australia we bring the two sides together

Sporting Witness
In 2003, neighbours Rwanda and Uganda played one of the most notorious games in the history of African football. Ahead of the Africa Cup of Nations qualifier, relations between the two governments were tense and the atmosphere duly spilled onto the pitch. The match featured amazing saves, accusations of 'witchcraft', a mass brawl and a goal that made history.
