Are personalities or policies more important in politics?
Ahead of the final Prime Minister's Questions before the election, pollsters Ben Page of Ipsos Mori and Deborah Mattinson of Britain Thinks debate which are more import in modern-day politics – personalities or policies?
Mr Page said though many voted on the characteristics of the party leaders in 2010 that has changed this year.
"The proportion of people who say they're voting on the characteristics of the leaders is much lower than last time...it's almost as though the leadership element is being discounted," he said.
Though Pattinson agreed personalities were less important in this election she thinks they still matter.
"You can have the most appealing policies on earth but if people don't believe you can deliver them with any credibility then they're not going to vote," she said.
