Michael Gove: Blair's pro-EU speech 'deja vu all over again'
Michael Gove, who was Conservative Education Secretary and Chief Whip in the Parliament just gone, was quizzed by Eddie Mair about former Prime Minister Tony Blair’s speech on 7 April.
Mr Blair warned that David Cameron's pledge to hold a referendum on Britain's EU membership would cause economic "chaos". He also declared support for Ed Miliband.
He also supported Jeremy Hunt's statement that a future Conservative government would give the NHS "whatever it needs".
"Absolutely we will... NHS is our number one priority in terms of public services," Mr Gove said.
He also said that other departments would therefore take some spending cuts.
