As part of our bid to report from 100 constituencies in the run up to the election, Mishal Husain visited Cambridge and Norfolk, looking at the debate on immigration, which is not only about the numbers of people who come into the country but also about skills.

Political parties are keen to emphasise bringing the right skills in where needed - and therefore the right sort of immigration.

The east of England is an area of high migration, attracting foreign workers from the highly skilled - scientists, doctors - to the low or unskilled, picking fruit and vegetables on the region's many farms.

But how do you strike the right balance between the economic and the social arguments on immigration?

Mishal Husain gathered the views from an asparagus farm, Cambridge Science Park and a cheer-leading class in Thetford.
