'I was determined homelessness wouldn’t ruin us'
Louise Stephenson was left homeless with her four children when she separated from her husband.
After staying with a friend for 11 months, they ended up sharing an area in a hostel with another family – an unhygienic and often intimidating environment.
She told Victoria that she was determined that experience would not “ruin” her family.
