New Star Wars trailer: 'The crowd went berserk'
The trailer for Star Wars 7: The Force Awakens, has been unveiled and fans "went berserk" according to a movie journalist who was there to witness it.
The trailer was played at a convention for Star Wars fans in California.
Jim Vainy, senior film reporter for Variety, was there and told 5 live "Lucasfilm is being very careful to give just enough to keep the audience tantalised and teased. The moment that got the biggest roar was when Han Solo comes out with Chewbacca, and Harrison Ford, says "we're home, Chewy" - a very dramatic moment - and the crowd just went absolutely berserk."
"It's a combination of old-timers like Harrison Ford and then some newcomers," he told Dotun Adebayo, "but really very little given away about what the plot's going to be or how the story's going to be different to the past films."
