Step-by-Step – Move 2 – Floor Work - Sitting spine stretches - six seconds
Contraction & Release in Second Position. In this movement the dancer contracts her stomach whilst elongating her back and allowing the air to empty from her lungs. The feet flex and the full contraction is complete. As she releases, her lungs fill up and push her spine up until her head reaches the top. Featuring Sandrine Monin from Phoenix Dance Theatre.
