EU Accuses Gazprom of Anti-Competitive Behaviour
The European Union has accused the Russian gas giant Gazprom of abusing its dominant position by over-charging five countries in eastern Europe and hindering competition in three others. The EU's competition commissioner Margrethe Vestager said some countries have been over-charged by 40 percent. She denied the move was to punish Russia for its policy on Ukraine.
