Investigating the Armenian Mass Killings
One hundred years on from the 1915 mass killings of Armenians in Ottoman Turkey, two ÃÛÑ¿´«Ã½ journalists have been on a quest to find out more about those who died and the circumstances of their deaths. ÃÛÑ¿´«Ã½ Persian's Lara Petrossians has been following the story of her Armenian great-grandparents, who fled the massacres and escaped to Persia, modern Iran. And Rengin Arslan from ÃÛÑ¿´«Ã½ Turkish has been uncovering the secrets of her home town, Eskisehir, which once had a big Armenian community. Together they have made a film, Remembering the Armenian Massacres. Lara Petrossians grew up in Iran.
