'The biggest racism I've seen in British politics is happening north of the border'
UKIP leader Nigel Farage says the “biggest racism I've seen in British politics is happening north of the border with the SNP".
Farage was responding to questions about racism within his own party, after 28% of UKIP supporters surveyed in a YouGov opinion poll said they had “racist” views.
"Some of the anti-English hatred is reaching a truly astonishing level” said Farage.
“I would think that if the ѿý is worried about racism that’s where they ought to be looking” he added.
The SNP have described Farage’s comments as "disgraceful".
