Journalist Searches for her Mother
North Vietnam's first female war journalist Duong Thi Xuan Quy was killed at the age of 28 while covering a guerrilla operation in central Vietnam in 1969. Four decades after the Vietnam War ended, her family is still trying to find out what happened to her, reflecting a common yearning in a country that is still coming to terms with the conflict. Her daughter Huong Ly is now a journalist with the ÃÛÑ¿´«Ã½, and talks about her search for her mother.
