Treasure Quest Bank Holiday Weekend Special - Part 2 Treasure Quest - Monday 4th May 2015

It was day two of the special, with Kirsteen Thorne and Sophie Little both in the car.

  • The weather for day two of the special was a lot nicer than that for day one!
  • Navigator Ian was taking things very seriously, as you can see!
  • "Hey hey, we're The Monkees..."
  • Kirsteen waits for day two to get underway at Frettenham
  • Sophie in the sunshine
  • The listeners, especially on the show's Facebook page, had been debating and discussing the audio clue gained yesterday
  • Eventually the clue was cracked, and the team headed to a bowling alley in North Walsham in search of clue 8
  • After a few failed attempts, Sophie decided they needed some help to score a strike!
  • To earn the second half of clue 8, Kirsteen and Sophie had to go clambering through a children's play area
  • The two halves of clue 8 formed a picture clue
  • The clue led to the idea of being as "light" as a feather, and Hugh Laurie having famously played a character called "House"
  • A great view of the county
  • On top of the world
  • Don't look down!
  • To win clue 10 at an arts festival in Ludham, Kirsteen had to try her hand at some pottery!
  • Mucky pup!
  • At the Martham Scarecrow Festival, it was Kirsteen's turn to commentate as Sophie made a scarecrow
  • But there was an extra task for Sophie before she could have the final clue!
  • Got it! Sophie grabs the 11th and final clue of the two-day special, in Martham
  • The final clue was another picture clue - playing on the phrase "Caister men never turn back"
  • Kirsteen is suited-up for a trip out to the buoy where the treasure was placed
  • As Sophie commentated from the lifeboat station, Kirsteen was taken out in the inshore lifeboat
  • In an incredibly tight finish, it was hard to tell if the boat had touched the water by the time the countdown hit zero
  • After the show had finished, Sophie got her own trip out in the lifeboat
  • Navigator Ian all at sea!
  • On a beautiful Bank Holiday Monday, lots of Treasure Quest fans turned out to see the radio car finish at Caister
