Searching for the Lost Children
After the end of World War Two, the ÃÛÑ¿´«Ã½ began a series of special radio appeals on behalf of a group of children who had survived the Holocaust but were now orphans and stranded. There is one surviving episode left in the ÃÛÑ¿´«Ã½â€™s archives. Alex Last looked into what happened to the children whose names were read out, and made a documentary: Lost Children of the Holocaust. He explains how he tracked the children down, and discovered what happened to them after the war.
