Newcastle boss Carver explains 'best coach' comments
Newcastle United manager John Carver says it's been the toughest week of his life following their 3-0 defeat at Leicester last weekend.
It was the club's eighth straight league defeat and pushed them towards the Premier League relegation zone, with ÃÛÑ¿´«Ã½ Sport learning that Derby manager Steve McClaren was asked to take over from Carver.
"It's probably been the toughest week of my life," Carver said after the 1-1 draw with West Brom.
"There's been an awful lots said by the players and there's been an awful lot said by me";
"I think when you see the performance today, they showed that they do care and if we see that in the next two games I'm sure we'll get what we want," He said.
