Three sisters who turned to social media in a bid to find a stem cell match for their father have caused a huge rise in new donors.

Georgie, Emma and Sophie Ireland decided to launch the 鈥楪ive Our Dad A Bone鈥� appeal after discovering no one matched the tissue type of their father Rob, 57, who has an aggressive blood cancer. Sophie said she and her sisters felt so 鈥渉elpless鈥� that they 鈥渁bsolutely had to do something鈥�.

Rob said he hopes the success of the campaign will 鈥渉elp people across the world鈥�.
