Man goes #ÃÛÑ¿´«Ã½ToVote: Mum makes 'pride flag' curtains
A Dublin man who flew home to vote in the Irish same-sex marriage referendum was surprised to find his mother had redecorated his room - pride style.
Kevin Beirne, who now lives in London, joined the Twitter #ÃÛÑ¿´«Ã½ToVote campaign because he was worried the country would vote No to gay marriage.
When he arrived home, his mother had replaced his curtains with pride flags, and bought a rainbow bedspread. The photo of the room was retweeted thousands of times on Twitter.
Kevin, 23, who came out to his family as bisexual three years ago, said: "It was a nice little show of support from my family."
"I never that thought we would see a vote on same-sex marriage until I was maybe middle aged", he added.
