Every member of the Gifted Organs band has had an organ transplant including heart, lung and liver.

James Tottle, Hayden Purcell, Simon Cooper and Chris Massen are now using their music to raise awareness of organ donation.

James Tottle, one of the band's founding members, said he doesn't think there has been an organ transplant pop band "anywhere else in the world". He said their music helps them to "celebrate the gift of life" and "promote organ donation".

The band has already worked with Peter Gabriel and is hoping to make a "full album of transplant songs" in the future.
