Jerry Collins was a 'very proud father'
Jerry Collins was a "very proud father" and "very much in love" with his partner Alana Madhill, says Justin Harrison, Head Coach for Narbonne Rugby Club.
Harrison paid tribute to the former All Black rugby star: "The best memory of his anyone could have of Jerry Collins was him as a very very proud father...holding hands with his partner".
"He was an astonishingly compassionate man and a philosophical thinker off the field and he was a feared and respected adversary on it".
Collins' baby daughter remains in a critical condition in France after both her parents were killed in a car crash in Montpellier on Friday morning.
