Six of the world's biggest banks are fined a total of six billion dollars for their involvement in the foreign exchange rigging scandal. The banks include Barclays, whose total levy comes to $2.4bn. The fines are being imposed by several US agencies, including the Department of Justice, the Commodities Futures Trading Commission, the New York State Department for Financial Services, and the UK's Financial Conduct Authority.
