A British man says he left his city job to fight Islamic State militants in Syria to 鈥渕ake a stand鈥�.

Former financial worker 'Harry, not his real name, said: 鈥淚 was sitting at my desk watching ISIS rise and I thought, Britain isn鈥檛 doing enough.鈥�

He claimed IS militants were 鈥渧ery aggressive鈥� but 鈥渧ery well trained鈥� with 鈥渁 lot of support鈥� financially from somewhere.

Asked by Nicky Campbell what he made of Britons travelling to join IS fighters in Syria, he said: 鈥淚 think they鈥檙e mad, personally, and they鈥檝e got no excuse."

"They don鈥檛 even have to get there before they commit a crime in my book,鈥� he added.

The 蜜芽传媒 Office has warned people taking part in the conflict in Syria and Iraq could amount to an offence.
