Chris Evans "100%" confirms the new Top Gear line-up will include a woman.

The ÃÛÑ¿´«Ã½ Radio Two presenter was asked by 5 live Breakfast's Nicky Campbell whether he will have a female co-host: "Absolutely but not for the sake of it". Nicky then asks "Will one or two of them be a woman, can you confirm that?"

Chris Evans replies: "I can confirm that, definitely 100%".

It follows the announcement Evans is to replace Jeremy Clarkson on the ÃÛÑ¿´«Ã½ Two series.

Clarkson was dropped in March after punching a producer while on location.

Chris Evans goes on to explain how he plans to look at the TV format "I want a super-lesson in how to make Top Gear".
