Locals v tourists: Views on the Greek debt crisis
Eurozone finance ministers are meeting in Luxembourg today to try to prevent Greece from defaulting on its debts and being forced out of the single currency.
German chancellor Angela Merkel says a deal is still possible to resolve the Greek debt crisis. But what do people in Greece think?
5 live’s Anna Foster spoke to locals and tourists in Athens, who had differing views on the situation.
A kiosk worker outside the government buildings said things were “getting worse”, but a German tourist at the Acropolis was “surprised” how “normal” the city looked.
