Lynsey Sharp: I was forced to wait in a cafe for a drugs test
Commonwealth 800m silver medallist Lyndsey Sharp explains why being available for a drugs test is not as easy as it sounds.
Sharp was speaking to Eleanor Oldroyd following claims by the Daily Mail that Mo Farah missed two drugs tests prior to his double gold medal-winning performance at the 2012 Olympics.
The Mail says the second one came at Farah's home in February 2011, when he claimed not to have heard the doorbell.
Sharp revealed that she encountered a doorbell problem of her own during a recent training camp in Boston. "I rented an apartment and checking it had a doorbell wasn't top of my list... It had no doorbell so I had to make my (pre-arranged) available slot each day in a cafe at the end of the road".
