5 live Daily presenter Peter Allen says he 鈥渜uite enjoyed reading鈥� a listener鈥檚 text, which demanded he moved to a different job.

Allen said he only had himself to blame after asking listeners to get in touch with 鈥渋nformed texts鈥�.

The texter wrote: 鈥淧eter Allen is a gormless, senile, gibbering old idiot, who can鈥檛 open his mouth without mumbling some half-baked inanity.鈥�

鈥淚 seriously object to him receiving my license fee and demand he is removed to a position more in keeping with his limited abilities.鈥�
