Vaughan: 'I was planning hotels when Warne dropped KP'
Former England captain Michael Vaughan says he didn't see Shane Warne drop Kevin Pietersen at the Oval during the final Ashes Test in 2005, as he was organising logistics for England's winter tours.
Warne spilt a catch in the slips when Pietersen had made just 15 runs. He would go on to make 158 to help England to draw the match and win the series.
"I didn't watch as I was out the back," Vaughan said.
"I was with the lady who does all the travel for the winter and she was asking me about hotels. I just kept on hearing noise, another wicket would fall and I just couldn't watch."
