Apple Music: 'Complete surprise' for first band played
The first song played on Beats 1, the new live channel on Apple Music, was City by Manchester-based band Spring King.
The band's singer and drummer, Tarek Musa, told Phil Williams that it was a "complete surprise" to be picked by Zane Lowe for the channel's inaugural show.
He said he was "blown away", and admitted that he didn't know whether he'd earn any money from the service.
