Seventh church in the American South is in flames
The Mount Zion African Methodist Episcopal Church in Greeleyville, South Carolina burnt on Tuesday night and is now smouldering. According to the local police chief the fire could have been started by lightning from a storm, but can't confirm this until an investigation is carried out. It's the seventh African-American church to burn in the American South since the attack on a church in Charleston - three have been ruled arson and the others are still under investigation. Cezar McKnight is a local lawyer who was at the scene in Greeleyville.
