The recent decision by the American Supreme Court to legalise gay marriage has been controversial with some sectors of society - not least religious groups in the country. But now, the author Reza Aslan and the "Daily Show" correspondent Hasan Minhaj have called on Muslim Americans to embrace marriage equality. They've penned an open letter to Muslim Americans on same sex marriage - Reza Aslan explained why he felt the need to write the letter.
