Emma Barnett from the 5 live Hit List spoke to his Omar Sharif's grandson Omar Sharif jr, about his memories of his grandfather. The actor passed away on July 10th 2015, aged 83.

"The best memories I have [...] are definitely of travelling [...] we were best friends", He said.

"He taught me about 'the birds and the bees' even" he continued, explaining his grandfather's analogy of playing bridge.

"There was a man who loved his family and always put them first".
