Former footballer Geoff Thomas talks to 5 live's Emma Barnett about his charity bike ride around the Tour de France route. Geoff defended his decision to allow Lance Armstrong to join the ride, stating that he isn't scared of a backlash from the French public, and believes they are "excited" to see Lance back in action.

"For me, he's a cancer survivor, he's gone on to raise £500 million dollars with his foundation that he's set up, and all I want to do is raise awareness and raise as much money for cancer charities", he said.
