Boycott: 'Bell is on his last chance'
Geoffrey Boycott believes batsman Ian Bell will be dropped by England if his poor form continues in the third Ashes Test.
The 33-year-old has averaged 10.6 runs in his last 12 innings and has been moved up to bat at three after Jonny Bairstow was brought into the side to replace Gary Ballance for the match at Edgbaston.
When asked if this is Bell's last chance to perform, TMS summariser Boycott said: "I think it is. They won't say that to him, that puts extra pressure on him. If he doesn't perform at number three and England lose, I think it could be the end."
