The Editor-in-Chief of British Vogue Alexandra Shulman says 鈥渨omen are historically less good at confronting people over the question of pay鈥�.

Shulman said the pay gap between genders, which stood at 9.4% in April 2014, was "patently a problem鈥�.

鈥滻 often find when people come to talk to me about pay they start off saying I鈥檓 sorry to bring this up. Whereas of course you鈥檙e absolutely entitled to bring up a question about pay.鈥�

鈥淚 think in my own area there isn鈥檛 nearly as much differential,鈥� she added.
