"Everyone saw my picture, I was so embarrassed": With more than half a billion Indians defecating in the open, to tackle the problem Nadia District outside Calcutta has resorted to using a "Wall of Shame", posting pictures and names of the "offenders". It has prompted mixed reactions, but has proved effective - the district is the first in India to be declared free of open defecation.
