Is handwriting now history?
Joined-up writing is being phased out of schools in Finland, in favour of what's being seen by the Finnish authorities as more useful keyboard skills.
So is the beginning of the end of the pen and paper in some schools?
Author Anne Trubek says that cursive writing is becoming a 'smaller part of our daily lives' and better educational time 'should be spent elsewhere'
