Controversy over Pakistan execution
The authorities in Pakistan have hanged a man convicted of killing a seven year old boy in 2004, after his execution had been stayed four times. Human rights groups argue that Shafqat Hussain was fourteen when he was found guilty and that his confession was extracted by torture.
Writer Mohammed Hanif told Razia Iqbal how people in Pakistan reacted to the execution.
