Random act of kindness gives ‘boost’ to mum with cancer
A woman from Belfast says her ill mother has been given “the boost she needed” after a random act of kindness from a stranger.
Cara Grace Duggan (pictured, left) was searching online for a second-hand blender to help mother Kim (right), who has stage 4 oesophageal cancer and struggles to eat.
She found one and asked the seller if he would ship it to Belfast, but after hearing of her situation, he surprised her by buying her a brand new one.
Cara said the man’s kindness was “incredible” as the family “didn’t have that kind of money to spend on a juicer”.
