A woman from Belfast says her ill mother has been given 鈥渢he boost she needed鈥� after a random act of kindness from a stranger.

Cara Grace Duggan (pictured, left) was searching online for a second-hand blender to help mother Kim (right), who has stage 4 oesophageal cancer and struggles to eat.

She found one and asked the seller if he would ship it to Belfast, but after hearing of her situation, he surprised her by buying her a brand new one.

Cara said the man鈥檚 kindness was 鈥渋ncredible鈥� as the family 鈥渄idn鈥檛 have that kind of money to spend on a juicer鈥�.
