James Cracknell's son: Dad saved people 'from drowning'
The son of double gold medallist James Cracknell says his dad dived 'David Hasselhoff-style' into the sea to save a man and his grandson from drowning.
Cracknell’s son, 11-year-old Croyde, spotted Jim Greatorex, 67 and Emerson Fairclough, seven, in the sea off the Devon coast and raised the alarm.
The former Olympic rower pulled out the child from the sea while Croyde helped Mr Greatorex up on to his bodyboard.
Croyde told Stephen Nolan, "It's not every day you rescue someone from drowning is it."
