'30 people were staring' at woman trapped underneath a taxi
A woman who lead a rescue operation to save someone trapped underneath a taxi says before she intervened "30 people were staring" at the incident.
Laura Fares said she was amazed that people didn't seem to be doing anything.
"She was nearly dead to my eyes," said Fares. "She was nearly blue. There were two paramedics but they weren't emergency services so they couldn't do a lot - they were just waiting for firemen, ambulance, police all that sort of stuff."
Fares added she checked with the paramedics that she could move the vehicle before "screaming 'all of you stop starting - start helping right now! Stop staring and do something.' Everybody dropped what they were doing and ran to the cab to help," she added.
