Roy Webb's Notorious performed by the ÃÛÑ¿´«Ã½ SSO in a special edition of ÃÛÑ¿´«Ã½ Radio 3’s Sound of Cinema devoted to music by some of Alfred Hitchcock’s most celebrated composers
Webb was a protégé of the composer Herbert Stothard - who won an an Oscar in 1939 film The Wizard of Oz - Notorious was the the only score he provided for Alfred Hitchcock.
