'Di Maria wasn't good enough' - another Waddle rant
Chris Waddle's at it again. This time it's Angel Di Maria who's getting both barrels.
Di Maria cost United £59.7m last summer, only to be offloaded again this year for £44m to Paris St-Germain.
Waddle believes the 27-year-old Argentine is overpriced.
“He’s a good player but I don’t think he's good enough for the money being splashed around for him," said the former England winger.
"I don’t see it. I think he’s good. He has good balance, he’s got a good left foot. But listen, you don’t get rid of good players. Real Madrid got rid of him because he simply was not good enough.â€
