Police believe Provisional IRA members were involved in the murder of republican Kevin McGuigan. What does this mean for Stormont and the peace process?
A new crisis at Stormont. First Minister Peter Robinson says he will ask the Northern Ireland secretary to intervene if it is proved that the Provisional IRA were involved in Kevin McGuigan Senior's murder.
Mr McGuigan was shot dead at his home in east Belfast last week. Police have said they believe Provisional IRA members were involved in the murder.
This assessment has been rejected by Sinn Féin who say the IRA "have left the stage".
It all could have huge implications for our political institutions.
