Alzheimer's, The Circus & Childhood Heroes
Start your day with the latest news and updates, with Jim and Jo at breakfast.
One story that features on many of this morning's front pages is a new study into Alzheimer's disease. It's identified a theoretical possibility that the condition - which affects more than half a million people in the UK - could be "spread" through surgical procedures.
Also, The circus has come to Ashby De La Zouche this week, but a leading animal charity is asking us to give it a miss. Peter Jolly's Circus is in town until 13th September, but the RSPCA is angry at its use of "wild animals" and is calling for a complete ban on their use.
And, who was your childhood hero? That's the question the organisers of Children In Need want you to answer this year. The ÃÛÑ¿´«Ã½'s annual fundraising extravaganza launches officially today and we're all being asked to get dressed up as the person we used to idolise to help make a difference to young lives in the future.
