I'm marrying partner with dementia 'while he can recognise me'
A woman set to marry a man with dementia and Parkinson's in the next two weeks says she wants to do it "while he can still recognise me."
58-year-old Christine Boushaba will tie to knot to her partner of 3 years, 62-year-old Taffy Sharlotte on September the 15th.
"Whatever life throws at you, you succumb it or you find a way around it or you just get through every day," said Boushaba. "We're just going to take it as it comes and get through it."
"I'm optimistic - I'm a ticking time bomb but I'm not worried about it," said Sharlotte. "I'm with the person I want to be with and I'm happy."
